CHAPTER 13 - JODIE

"Di Genius.. A Stacious.. Sexiness, ladies.. I wanna make love.. mmm, I want you.."

I rolled over and mumbled to myself, I reached under my pillow and searched for my phone. I quickly looked at the time then answered it before it woke up Khalil.
'Oi!'
'What the fuck Lawrence, do you know what time it is?' I mumbled down the phone,
'Do i look like i give a fuck, I'm coming to pick you up nooow!' he seemed wide awake.

'Whaat!? - Its rassclart 5am'

'I don't care, get dressed.. Ima be there in a hour - And if you don't come out, I'll just kick off your front door and drag you out',
I could tell he was hyper,

'Llow it please, I got a baby to look after - what's wrong with you?'

'Bring him then, I need your help... please babes'

He sounded genuine
I sighed, 'Alright, an hour'

He locked the phone.

I laid there for a while, looking at my beautiful baby while he slept in the bed next to me. He looked so much like a cross between his dad Aaron and Jermaine. I started thinking about Aaron, I missed him soo much but I had booked a visiting order to go see him next week so that was making me feel better; He still didn't know about Khalil and I still weren't too confident about telling him either.

I got up and had a quick shower, put on my pink Adidas tracksuit with orange stripes, an orange t-shirt and all white Adidas Superstars. My hair looked like a giant bush and after 10minutes I'd finally managed to slick it up into a bun. I packed Khalil's bag and slipped him into his navy snowsuit, put on his little blue cap that his uncle Darius bought him and his blue Adidas trainers, luckily without waking him up. I checked the time it was 5.45am, as i went to put my phone back in my pocket it started to ring,
'Hello'
'Are you ready?'
'Yeah, i just need to make Kay his bottle'
'Your actually gonna bring him? - Nah man, leave him with your mum'
'I can't'
He kissed his teeth, 'How you gonna bring your yute along, your not serious, leave him at home, what kinda mum are you?'
'I'm a good mum you prick!', I shouted and locked the phone then threw it on the bed and lied back down next to Khalil. What Lawrence said slyly got to me a bit, I closed my eyes and imagined, me, Aaron and Khalil all together living and nice carefree life.

I must have dozed off because i woke up to a loud smashing noise, it made my heart skip a beat as i quickly sat up in the bed and tried looking around to see what it was. Khalil woke up instantly and started screaming his head off. As I scanned the room quickly, a big fat hole in my window caught my eye.

'What the fuck!?' i said to myself and got up and switched on the light.

I cautiously approached the window, making sure i didn't step on no broken glass. I peeped out and wasn't really that surprised about what i saw. Lawrence was standing outside the window looking straight back up at me. I opened it and leaned out.

'What the fucck man! My sons in here you dickhead, are you fucking stupid? - You scared the fucking shit outta me, and woke him up you prick!' I literally shouted out the window, I wouldn't be surprised if i woke up my whole road.

'Shut the fuck up and stop shouting! I didn't even mean to break it, was an accident' he hissed back at me, then smiled 'come man, I'm waiting for you'

'I don't care, my mums gonna buss a flip about this window'

'Ahhh, don't watch that right now. Man'll fix it'

I kissed my teeth 'I'll be down in 10 minutes'

I shut the window and picked up Khalil to stop him from crying. I hated it when he cried because he would never stop, its like i didn't have that mothers touch to stop him crying, 5 months and we hadn't really bonded. I tried giving him his dummy but he just wasn't having none of it, I cuddled him but he still wouldn't stop. I could feel myself getting frustrated, so i decided to take him to someone who could shut him up.

I knocked on Jermaine's bedroom door, no answer, so i just walked in. He was in bed fast asleep cuddled up with Leanne, I laughed in my head at what i was seeing. Khalil's crying woke up the whole room, even their daughter who was asleep in Khalil's travel cot, she started crying too. I turned on the light, i thought i might as well since everyone was awake now.

Leanne and Jermaine looked at me, Jermaine had the dirtiest screw face.

'What the fuck are you doing?' he mumbled as Leanne got out the bed wearing one of his t-shirts and went to pick up Reanne, her daughter.

'He won't stop crying' I looked at him hopelessly,

He just got out the bed and took him out my arms, pushed me back out the room and shut the door without saying anything to me.
I went back to my room, grabbed my bag and phone, sneaked out the house and got in Lawrence's car and we drove off.

The whole journey i said nothing, I just kept wondering what was so important that he had to come at this early time of the morning. I was slyly feeling abit badmind for just leaving Khalil with Jermaine like that, but he loves his uncle and i know his uncle loves him and i felt he'd be better off with him anyway.

I weren't really paying attention to where we was driving to until he parked up outside a house that looked more than familiar. I looked at him,

'What are we doing round here?'

'Me & my brother raided one yard round here, kidnapped the yute and fucked him up' he laughed 'so we just patrolling the yard now, see who comes round - he's a shotter innit'

I just stared blankly at him, 'I didn't know you had a brother'

'Half brother enit, we got the same dad'

'Oh oh, so erm.. this is what was soo important' I kinda screwed him,

'Yeah man, i wanted your company innit' he smiled at me then got out the car, so i got out too.

I was feeling paranoid that i was about to get caught slipping, my cousin lived round here and I didn't want him to see me. Lawrence grabbed hold of my hand, i looked at him funny

'In case you try run off or some shit', he said as he dragged me towards the house we was going to.

As we got closer to the house we was going into, my heart started beating un-healthily fast, i stopped in my tracks and just stood there, staring at the house.

'Come man!' Lawrence pulled my arm, but i weren't budging. I could feel the tears building up.

'Are you being serious?' I looked him straight in the face and the tears started falling uncontrollably, and i started shaking.

He was looking at me confused, like i was crazy, 'what?'

I shook my head at him, 'What did you do to my cousin!?'

He looked at me shocked but gripped tighter onto my hand, 'Your cousin?, who's your cousin?'

'Darius', my upset soon turned to anger as what he said to me in the car replayed in my head, 'you kidnapped my fucking cousin!?' I screamed at him,

He pulled me towards him with so much force he almost pulled my arm out its socket, I stumbled towards him, then tried to pull myself away but he grabbed hold of my top with his other hand and pulled me into him and held me in the restraining position. I started screaming my head off, he tried squeezing me to shut me up but i weren't stopping.

'Get off mee!!' I kept screaming and shouting as he lifted me off the floor so my feet were swinging and carried me to the front door.

He started banging on the front door 'Oii!! Open the door quick!'

The door flew open and he carried me in and threw me on the floor, I quickly scrambled to get up then darted for the door but whoever had opened it, shut it just as quickly so i ended up running straight into them as they turned around to face us.

I looked up at the person and I couldn't believe it. I stood there and just stared at him as he stared back at me in complete shock.

I couldn't control myself, I started pushing him and screaming at him.

'You fuckin prick, you kidnapped my cousin! You fucking set me up, i thought you was cool.. you lied!' I started crying again,

Lawrence dragged me back by my hair 'Shut up!'

I stood there uncontrollably crying while Lawrence still had hold of my hair,

'Is she still in there?' Lawrence said to Dwayne,

He nodded then looked back at me 'Dee's your cousin? - I didn't even know'

'Neither did I, but who cares' Lawrence said and dragged me into the front room,

I screwed up my face as I clocked that bitch sitting on the sofa, she looked fucked.

She had another black eye, her lip was buss, her hair was messed up, she just looked battered and tired, she was wearing Jermaine's Armarni Jacket, I knew it was his because after she left last night, he was going mad about the fact she'd taken it.

I went off on a mad one again as Lawrence held onto me and Dwayne walked into the room,

'You fucking bitch! try play my brother, attack my bredrin and set up my cousin!' I screamed at her. 'I should fuck you up right now, you fucking bunge!'

A panicked look spread across her face, she stood up,

'I swear i didn't, I came here too see him but these two were already here' she started crying, 'I wouldn't do that to him'

Lawrence pulled me back and pushed me down on the sofa 'Shut the fuck up man, making up bare noise in here'

'Jay's your twin innit!' Dwayne randomly said,

'Yeah.. memba i told you about him. Well this is the bitch!' I kissed my teeth and cut my eye at her, she looked like she was about to shit herself.

'You know her?' she looked at him with this scared look on her face,

'Yeah! i do actually' he laughed 'And she told me this nice story about how her brother was fucking this chick who had a man' he paused for a minute, pulled out a strap and pointed it straight at her, 'So you WAS cheating on me with him then, wasnt you!?'

I gasped in shock 'Was you her man!?'

'It wasn't even like that, I'm sorry' she started shaking and stepping backwards away from him as he approached her,

'Hold on, hold on... thaat was your wifey!?' Lawrence butted in then started laughing uncontrollably 'Kiera was your wifey! - well ain't that some shit.. - you try tell me you just fucked her that time when i saw you at her yard'

'Ahh, don't watch that man', he said

'What!?' she looked at Dwayne funny 'So you knew him from then?'

'He's my brother..'

Lawrence started laughing, 'Small world ain't it!'
